Itunes error 3194 fix for iphone 4 3G


If you get the error 3194 when applying the firmware to your iPhone (3G), do not worry, it's because iTunes is not recognizing the customized firmware version you are installing into your model or is detected that the version you are installing a previous version. Do these steps (Windows and Mac) to avoid this error.

For windows:

Step 1: Enter the START> PROGRAMS> ACCESSORIES and find the Notepad application.

Step 2: Right click on notepad and choose RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

Step 3: In Notepad, click File> Open and navigate to the following directory:

C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc

Make sure you have selected the ability to view all files.

Step 4: Find the file named "hosts". Open the file.

Step 5: When you open the Host file, enter the following line at the end of this:

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

Step 6: Select FILE> SAVE to save the changes.

Step 7: Now connect your computer to iTunes in recovery mode:

- Turn off the computer without being connected by USB to the computer.

- Let down the HOME button and connect USB again.

- As soon as you connect, it automatically turns the message to connect your computer to iTunes.

- You can release the HOME button.

- Now go to iTunes and click the Restore button (Restore) the team with the SHIFT key.

- Select the firmware installed.

- Follow the restore procedure.

Note: If recovery mode does not work, so try the DFU .

For Mac OS:

Step 1: Download the application at this link Smultron ( Leopard , Snow Leopard ) and install the application. Smultron is a text editor used by developers which does not add formatting characters which can lead to file conflicts will be making changes.

Step 2: We must change the file that tells the server addresses from Apple and change it to point the server Cydia. For this, we will modify the file known as the "Host File".

Step 3: In the Finder application, go to GO> GO TO FOLDER.

Step 4: Enter the address: / etc / and press the GO button.

Step 5: Locate the file named "hosts".

Step 6: Right click and choose Open With ... > Other ...

Step 7: Choose the application of Smultron.

Step 8: When you open the file, enter the following line at the end of this:

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

Step 9: Press the SAVE button.

Step 11: Confirm with your administrator account.

Step 7: Now connect your computer to iTunes in recovery mode:

- Turn off the computer without being connected by USB to the computer.

- Let down the HOME button and connect USB again.

- As soon as you connect, it automatically turns the message to connect your computer to iTunes.

- You can release the HOME button.

- Now go to iTunes and click the Restore button (Restore) the team with the key ALT / OPTION.
